Just as important as good photography skills are good customer service skills. I think Gammell's photography skills are just fine. But customer service? Non-existent. I can't even say they were rude, because they simply refused to answer any of my e-mails or address my concerns in any way. I didn't even hire Gammell Photo, BYU did, and yet they refuse to interact with the customers who order prints. While I could write an entire review about the cheesy background choices they offered for my graduation photos, that's not really the problem I have with this company. My problem is that one of my prints arrived with a horrible laminating job. They had actually laminated over a white particle that stood out on my dark hair. Additionally, they cut the border too close and the laminate was peeling apart on one of the corners. I didn't need to pay extra $$ for this horrible result. When I tried to get them to address these problems, no response. NOTHING. I even said I would accept a non-laminated photo as a replacement-- losing ME money.
I am extremely disappointed with them. I think I understand the reviewer below who had the same problem-- except at least in her case Gammell had the dignity to respond to her concerns. I will never use Gammell Photography again if I can help it.
