Sends me unsolicited advertisements in the mail, even though I have no children and cannot have them. God knows who they buy their info from for their marketing but receiving those kinds of mailers feels like a cruel joke. Please stop sending them. I would love to know how you got my information.

From the Head of all of the organization to all the department heads, terrible people skills. The IT director would routinely come in at 11am or later, close his door and do who knows what. We were not allowed to enter when the door was closed. He was a huge ultra MICRO manager extreme. EVERYTHING had to be approved by him personally, but he was barely ever there. Projects would sit waiting for his approval for months and then he would yell at you when they were not done. They were still using Blackberries when I was there and were super resistant to any IT improvements. The focus was on making the antiquated IT stuff not break. It was a house of cards operating of Technology that is 20+ years old. It was a very hostile work environment and miserable. They have very high turnover in IT as well as the rest of the schools due to very poor people skills and policies. When I left I told HR about what I was seeing and the HR assistant held up his Blackberry and said "This pretty much sums it up, doesn't it?" He told me everyone knows what is wrong but that none of it would change. He said on one occasion the entire IT department had signed a petition to have the IT director replaced. Management fired them all. I had documentation to show him and he advised me not to push it so that I would get a severance deal. So I did not push it. I was working there for 6 months before I could not take it anymore. I took a 15K pay cut to leave - so worth it for my mental health.

Challenger School is a for profit school that is great at promoting themselves while attacking your children. Our kids were in preschool and Challenger frequently tried to get them to go full day and then Challenger wanted to hold them back, in pre school if we didnt do summer school. Michelle Sweat is a horrendous woman who has no integrity and will not think outside of her biased Challenger mind. Challenger School has a one size fits all approach that does not work for most! In the year 2022 how can any school claim to have an advanced curriculum yet not offer a foreign language? My advice to any parent considering Challenger is to seek out more modern schools that have current claims to advanced curriculum and not a school that was cutting edge in 1970.
