Disclaimer! I was denied for a unit and I am not upset about that, they are well within their rights) I scheduled a viewing of the property and upon arrival the realtor was not there. When I call while I was outside waiting she claimed she had been trying to contact me. Nevertheless she said that they had a “house sitter” occupying the unit until someone moved in and that he could let me in to see the unit. They did not advise him that I was viewing the unit and the place was a mess, that and the fact the unit did not come with a refrigerator or stove immediately turned me away. After time and consideration I decided to apply anyway. I gave my application on Saturday June 26th. I called early the following week to check the status of my application and to make sure they did not need any more information from me. The woman I spoke with informed me that they would be reaching out at the end of the week to let me know if I had been approved or not. By that Thursday I had not heard from anyone so I called and was told I would have to wait until the upcoming Tuesday July 6th for my answer. I called the morning of the 6th at 11am and I hadn’t gotten a answer I’m guessing no one was in the office until after 1pm because that’s when I finally had gotten to speak with someone. The woman I spoke with told me they had yet to reach a decision and would give me a call that afternoon. 4pm comes and I still have yet to hear from anyone and it’s nearing the end of a work day so I call again in hope to get a verdict and not to get the run around again. A woman answers the phone with an attitude “yes we were able to meet while you were calling our phone multiple times” as if I was wrong for trying to the the answer I was told I would have almost a week ago. It’s just terrible how businesses hire lazy people with no customer service skills. You’d think a realtor would be more understanding of someone looking to find a new home and understand the sensitive time frame. Unfortunately all you will get from IPS Management is the run around and piss poor attitudes because someone was expected to do THEIR job. Ps. Make sure the houses are clean or at least semi presentable before showing them to people.
