If I didn’t have COVID 19, I would’ve done my move out clean myself. Unfortunately this was not an option, so we gave Queen of Maids a chance. They had amazing customer service, but unfortunately it boils down to how well they perform their job. I had a move out clean for a very small basement unit with one half bath. I also added the baseboards, inside of cupboards, and inside of fridge to be cleaned as add-ons. After inspecting the unit the next day after the clean, it was obvious that the cleaner put in absolutely bare minimum effort. The baseboards and cabinets were untouched. They did not even clean my shower (the inside of the shower, the shower door, or the floor) or even sweep my stairs. For $300 worth of services I was really angry. I could only notice that my toilet, sink, and window sills were clean and the bedroom and living room floors were vacuumed. That’s about it. Everything should’ve been cleaned as is included in your cleaning checklist. I called and they refunded me for the add on services but still charged me the majority of the clean, even though there were a LOT of things that were left unclean. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of my dirty floors or bathroom until after I had been refunded for the add ons. I’m thankful for the partial refund but my landlord has not given us back even half of our security deposit back because of these uncleaned spaces, most notably the bathroom. Very disappointed.
