In my time of need, I contacted several attorneys for counsel regarding a custody matter. Ultimately, I went with Russell Hartvigsen and have been very pleased with my choice. Russell has been right about every aspect in my case proceedings thus far. He has moved quickly and has taken my calls day and night. Too many times to count. He has also been very in tune and supportive with my goals for the case. Others just seemed to want nothing more than to drag everything out and fight to the bitter end. (And, run up the bill in the process) Russell took action for me and has produced immediate results. I would highly recommend Mr. Hartvigsen.

I was referred to Russ Hartvigsen from another attorney. Sadly to say, I paid the retainer for a flat rate to get me through settlement conference. However after a one page filing to reopen my case, I was able to settle with my ex on my own. In request for an invoice of work completed and refund of any balance I have sent probably 10 emails with requests and completely ignored. All integrity of this practice is lost when money is the only motivator. Now I have to hire another attorney to recover unused funds that was contributed to this retainer. Super! Would not recommend

When I was going through my divorce I am so glad I decided to hire McKail. I had a consultation with another lawyer who seemed to be trying to scare me so that I would take it to court and he would make more money. He even let me believe that my ex had an advantage in custody just for making more money than I do. Mckail explained how everything actually works and didn’t try to intimidate me into going to court. She helped us settle our divorce out of court amicably. She is also so friendly, not a requirement for a lawyer but it was so nice to work with her during such an emotionally trying time. Finally, more than a year after our divorce finalized I had some questions about filing taxes and she still answered my e-mail right away and was as helpful as always.
