If you don't speak Spanish and you're not related to one of the four people that work there that are related you're not going to do well

Me and my partner worked here for little over a year! We got hired through a temp agency!! Oh boy what a work journey!! If you want a dead end job working with a bunch of unexperience, non English speakers!!! Than this is the job for you.. There's whole lot of favoritism over other employees! They pick people for personality over work ethic and experience. The warehouse lead Joanna is very rude and unprofessional!! She doesn't know how to talk or approach employees unless they are yes mens. The DM Miguel is very careless and misleading. A job Full of broken promises. They demand a whole lot of work from you for such little pay and appreciation from corporate let alone HR! Im very experienced and never in my life have i seen such poor leadership skills let alone management. Reviews here speak for itself! Good luck to whoever tries to work here!!

I would give no stars if it was an option. I started with Landmark in December of 2018 through Nesco resources and like many of you I came to read the reviews, which as you can tell are not exactly raving. Being the optimistic man I took the bad reviews as disgruntled former employees and your typical google reviews and tried to give LG a benefit of the doubt. Im taking the time to write this review and hopefully give you some of the insight I wish I had so you too do not waste your time with this worthless orginazation. Landmarks retention as a company is so outstanding that by April 2019 (4 months), Myself the new temp who had NO prior warehouse experience was now one of the most tenure employees and was in line for operations supervisor in the fulfillment warehouse, as a temp still! The only experience within the warehouse were Two floor leads who were terminated, followed by the supervisor resigning from his position shortly after. Miguel the regional director, openly preaches his revolving door policy for his practice of retaining employees and the internal business structure of this warehouse screams it. Wages are frozen and stuck from 10 years ago with no intention of revamping the pay scale. When pay is mentioned or discussed you will quickly be guided into another topic of discussion or told that will be touched on a later date. All this management thrives off of is blown smoke and false promises to get what they can out of you and then will part their ways or cut their ties once you have caught on to their business model or the day is over. You can be a picker/packer and your supervisor MIGHT be making a few more peanuts than you. Forklift operators must be certified through LG, but no pay adjustments once you achieve your forklift cert. or take on extra duties there is no compensation, youll only hear about it. Then when youve had enough and its your time to leave, youre the bad guy and it was your fault. Logistically, there are 2 warehouses youre constantly expected to bounce back and forth in between them with your Personal own vehicle, running packages, boxes, crew members, etc, etc to attempt to make their mission. Meanwhile Landmark trucks sit at the docks unoccupied, but youre expected to make it work, no matter what personal costs that takes. Miguel, the regional sits in Long Beach and his method of management is watching the cameras through his phone, and checking his emails. He is well aware the lack of training, inventory and accountability issues, logistical hurdles and other problems but he simply does not care. Keep revolving that door and keep new faces in here as long as we get todays orders out, then who cares about tomorrow? He is very hypocritical, hands off, unapproachable, shady and two faced in his management practices, to say the very least.. I could continue this review a few more paragraphs, but Ill save us the time and the reading. Basically, if youre looking to be overworked, underappreciated and underpaid in a sweat shop type, no care for employees type business model then Landmark is the place for you! But in all seriousness, if youre a remotely decent human being and you have ANY other option for work with an ounce of self dignity and workmanship, do yourself a favor and please stay away from this place. Sincerely, Cody Carpenter
