Darrington Tree Experts - Provo

Paid for an expensive tree removal and there was a miscommunication because I was told the ground would be flat after the removal. I attempted to contact the owner multiple times about this issue over the past months. The tree removal was good but horrible customer service afterwards as I’m still waiting to hear back.

Mr. Darrington came out when he said he would. He gave us a very fair bid. We had one tree completely removed and two others trimmed extensively. We are very pleased with the work and cleanup. He was very easy to work with. Will definitely use in the future

They came out and gave me an estimate promptly to service trees in my large yard. I was told it would be 2-3 weeks until the work could be done. When I called to check on things after 2 weeks I was told it would be another couple weeks. I called again after a month and was told that they were behind and would get to me soon. After 2 months I called again and was told they had lost my estimate. After this long I have decided to use another tree service. I’m sure they are very, very busy and I have neighbors that use their service so I know they do a good job. I felt like they were too busy for me. And I’m upset that I had to wait two months for someone to actually look and tell me my estimate had been lost.

I was very happy with Max coming to take of my maple tree. He came right on time. He was knowledgeable . His price was reasonable. And he gave me tips on how to care for my tree on my own. I will call him again for future needs.

We have an old Elm tree next to our home which the residents who lived here before us had cut down to a 12' stump, but then they moved away and it grew back. We didn't know that because Elm branches grow so rapidly from the center of the trunk that this weakens the tree as they join bark to bark together and begin to split the trunk in half. So we had been hearing loud cracking and popping noises coming from the Elm for a few weeks and were pretty worried that one of the long and heavy upper limbs hanging over our house would fall soon when we were recommended to call Darrington Tree Experts for a consultation. The friendly owner came over and did an examination of the tree while explaining with encyclopedic knowledge what was happening with it. He knew the exact variety of Elm, and explained how the fast-growing oblong-shaped Elm cells weaken the wood, pointed out how the "Slime Flux" (or what I would've called sap) indicated bark-on-bark irritation, pointed out the crack in the upper trunk that we'd completely missed seeing, and explained in depth what would happen and what choices we would need to make. So after deciding on a course of action, the work began. His crew appeared a few days later with a bucket lift and resolved the danger quickly and cheerfully in just a few short hours, cleaning up after themselves like they'd never even been there. Quite a few limbs were removed and they knew exactly how to do it in the most efficient way possible. They were polite, hard-working, and seemed to enjoy their jobs. We are VERY impressed and pleased with the top-notch service and highly recommend Darrington Tree Experts for any landscape-related need.
