Avoid at all costs. Literally. Avoid Travis at all costs. Following his professional advice has turned out to be the single most emotionally and financially devastating thing I have ever done. I've spent at least $40,000 trying to undo the damage he's done to my life and lives of my children. Because of him I will end up paying more than $50,000 in child support over the next 4 years. I started my divorce with 50/50 custody. When my ex moved out of town, he recommended split custody. I trusted him, and agreed. Because of that, my ex eventually moved out of state has taken my child, and there is nothing I can do about it. After the hearing in which the courts allowed my daughter to move, I was devastated. He advised me to not appeal the decision, so I didn't. I walked out of the court room only to see him laughing and joking with opposing counsel on the court steps. A few weeks later he called me into his office to discuss why I was so upset about my daughter moving 1,500 miles away. He said, and this is a direct quote, "Hey, AT LEAST SHE'S NOT DEAD". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Every attorney I've spoken to since then is appalled by what he did to me. The story is much longer than this, but PLEASE listen. Avoid Travis. There are many excellent family lawyers out there, find someone else. Don't make the mistakes I did. I do not believe he is competent to practice law.
