Golden Isle Chinese Restaurant

We ordered from them a couple of months ago and the food was amazing! We got them again tonight and received a couple of boxes full of veggies and a few pieces of chicken... We ordered the Cashew and Kung Pow Chicken and the only difference between the two is the Kung Pow had a few more peppers in it. We didn't think this was the correct order and I called them back explaining that to them and they said the difference was one being spicier than the other. (they tasted the exact same!) Last time we ordered this we had a whole box of chicken and it was a great deal for the price, but not this time. I will NEVER order from them again and you shouldn't either! The management didn't even care when I called them at we had spent $34 for two people!

I live locally, and just moved into my apartment complex. A week or so ago I found a menu hung on my door for this atrocious place. Not knowing the area much I kept the menu tucked away for when I wanted some Chinese take out. Note: not nice Chinese take out. Just whatever can deliver, and get the order right. No established business has ever failed my expectations with this. Until now. The order I put in showed up in a decently timely manner, but when I opened the box not only did my lo mein not have any noodles, but my partner's sweet and sour pork came without sweet and sour sauce... and it was CHICKEN instead of PORK. We called the establishment to let them know they got the order wrong, and was met with a hostile lady, who argued about what was ordered, and would not even let me finish a sentence. I had to ask her to stop interrupting me multiple times just to explain to her that there were no noodles in my lo mein. Seriously, how hard is it to understand that there were no noodles in a noodle dish? I'm sorry but when I want mediocre Chinese food I at least want them to get the order right. My partner describes her "sweet and sour pork" as chicken nuggets, in which she'd rather have gone to McDonald's since the chicken to bread ratio there was more generous, and it probably came from the same over processed chicken stock. And they would have no problem procuring her with sweet and sour sauces on request. Oh, before I stop writing, let's not forget that the ham in the ham fried rice is so dry I almost chipped my tooth. At this point I would have appreciated jerky grade ham in my ham friend rice. Oh, and wait, isn't egg an essential ingredient to fried rice? Well some one needs to send Golden Isle a letter reminding them that when you make rice-a-roni fried rice, in order to trick the public, you need to at least add egg. In the end when I could actually talk I asked for my money back which in return they offered a credit for my beef lo mein. My partner was like wtf have them deliver us Happy Meals instead. And she hates McDonalds. I hope you appreciate the humor. I digress, what happened was she screamed at me that she would deliver to me the lo mein and the sauce, which is better than nothing. So after forty five harrowing minutes my partner and I got a semblance of the order we put in an hour and a half ago and are eating our mediocre Chinese food. PS Crazy lady called to yell at us that her driver was here, is there any way we can put in a protective order against her?

I would give this place NO stars! This is the most horrible, disgusting, and rude Chinese place I have ever encountered! I ordered chicken lo mein and ham fried rice and a fried ice cream! Ok so lets start with the the chicken was raw, the ham is just cut up lunch meat or hot dogs and the fried ice cream isn't even ice cream its like cake dipped in tempura with the oil dried around it...looks like Crisco just gooped up on the side it was disgusting. So not only was the food AWFUL, but I called to let them know my chicken was raw and that I was pregnant and it could have made me very sick which salmonella is not good under any circumstances but pregnant its even worse. The lady said talk to chef...the chef gets on the phone screaming at me saying he guarantees the chicken is done because they cook it earlier and then re cook it when I order and that I can come to the restaurant and look at the chicken lol is that a joke or what? First of all who admits they just re cook there food when its ordered and second of all how does coming to look at the chicken there determine if my chicken Is raw or not...Im sitting here looking at my raw chicken and they are telling me come look at chicken here it not raw lol just arguing and I said I want my money back they said no money back chicken not raw and just argued and argued! This place is AWFUL!! I couldn't believe it! I would NEVER go back here if it was the last place on earth seriously it was that bad! Plus wouldn't wnt to take the chance of getting sick....STAY AWAY PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!

DON'T GO HERE!!! I attempted to place an order for delivery and I was put on hold for more than 20 minutes. After 10 mins she asked for my phone number then didn't even say hold just left to trying up customers. She said 2 hours for delivery and left again. I heard the woman take 5 walkin orders then there was silence. I've been a good customer for 2 years and I will NEVER NEVER EVER GO BACK again. I finally hung up and called back. When they answered I told the same woman what happened she said oh saaaweeee we busy. I said ya but you took several other orders and ignored me. They just lost hundreds of dollars and all she could say is oh. Eating inside the restaurant us just as much as a joke as it a rip off. Noooooooo customer service and food quality is rarely with the trouble. Forget the crap hole and go some where else!!
