By Pamela Spicer: (not Bob) Purchased a PMD micro dermabrasion device from this company. The device is either defective or just a dangerous product as it caused swelling, scabbing and hopefully not, but possibly scarring on my face. I called and spoke with one of the Managers who indicated that he was unwilling to assist me in an equitable manner. When I became persistent with him, he agreed to call me back after speaking with his manager. He did not call me back as promised and when I tried to call AGE SCIENCES back NO ONE WAS IN THEIR OFFICES. Fly by night company, possibly. I have filed a complaint with the FDA and contacted the Corporate Headquarters of the store that I purchased it from. There are absolutely no warnings in the instructions that something of this magnitude could possibly happen to the consumer. I spent a whole day applying ice and taking anti inflammatory drugs to reduce the pain and swelling on my cheeks. This product may be useful to someone who is trained to use it, but if you have no experience I strongly suggest that you pass on the home microdermabrasion tool. My face looks like I was attacked by a wild animal. I'm confident that it will heal, and hopefully not scar.
