High Desert Design got our house plans where they needed to be. Through reviews with HOA design committees, and city plan reviews. Gary was professional and did good work.

Was referred to Gary by a home builder. It was a huge mistake. He was not detail oriented, lacked vision and does cookie cutter homes. When I was discussing with home builders they knew about Gary. Some built his plans before and said he is one of the worst designers because his plans are not detailed that it cost more money to go back to him over and over again. These builders do Parade of Homes in Utah and two recommended not to use him. We stopped using him and thank goodness, because the builders were right. He had the stair cases going backwards and places that required beams didn't have them. Do not use Gary. Learn from me and the home builders. Gary has a reputation of producing bad plans. He is well known for it around the housing industry.

Gary does a really great job and is easy to work with. He understood what we wanted and did not try to push us in direction we did not like in order to save time or money. Highly Recommended.

As a Realtor of 18 years in Salt Lake, Utah, and Wasatch Counties, I have used Gary for several projects with several different home builders. Each time I recommend Gary to a home builder, they end up using him over and over. His plans are very thorough, high quality plans. Builders LOVE him for this and for his ability to understand the buildability/functionality of "cool ideas".
