I’m a plumber and see a lot of homes inside and out in the Utah area. I’ve been fairly impressed with at least The plumping side of things in my home, but everything else seems well built as well.

I agree with a lot of these negative comments. Is there an option for “0”? I purchased a townhome in the Springside Meadows area in Payson. When the unit was delivered to me it was filthy, there was tons of debris on the outside, nails, chalk, drywall mud caked to the doors, windows, outside walls, entryways, etc. There was construction dirt everywhere. The A/C unit was covered with dirt, the garage door was not working properly, the furnace was not even connected so it would not work when I needed it. All this is a classic example of “sloppy construction”. But yet DR Horton claims the unit was ready to be delivered upon closing. Since I moved in, I have submitted several warranty claims due to poor workmanship. DR Horton is all about quantity and not quality. Other home owners in the area would agree with this statement. And yes, they do rush you thru the final inspection and lie to you over and over. I was repeatedly told by the superintendent during the final inspection that the garage door was fixed and that he would send out a crew to clean up the unit on the outside. It’s been over 4 months and nothing ever happened. Lies, lies, lies..My elderly father, myself and my real estate agent ended up cleaning the mess left behind by the sloppy construction workers. I ended up calling the Draper DR Horton office and no response to the matter described above. They figured they received their money so all is well.. I personally will not purchase another DR Horton home. No way!! Enough said...
