Todd and Winslow were amazing Intro to Rock Climbing instructors! My partner and I gain a lot of knowledge and much needed confidence to climb outdoors as beginners. They patiently walked participants through each activity and came prepared to lend us any gear needed. Todd and Winslow also did a great job working with a group of varied abilities. There were participants who had more experience climbing than my partner and I did who I believe got a lot from the workshop. I highly recommend any clinics where Todd and /or Winslow are the leaders!

Took Willie Benegas and John Gregory’s trad clinic during our Salt Lake Climbers’ festival, and appreciated how engaging, kind, and patient they both were over the course of the day. The level of knowledge WMG guides have is impressive, but they were able to break down concepts around gear placement and selection into introductory level terms for a variety of experience levels. Most importantly, we had fun and we left feeling more confident in our abilities. Definitely consider this team for your SLC climbing adventure!

We had a fantastic skimo experience with Todd and Willie in the Wasatch backcountry. They are very knowledgeable in the mountains and fun to ski with. I kept bugging them with all sorts of questions ranging from technical skills to safety travel in the avalanche terrains. They always patiently explained the details while guiding us through complex and exciting terrains safely. Not only did we enjoyed some steep skiing and powder laps but also gained a good amount of knowledge that can be applied in our future skimo adventures. It really doesn’t get any better than this. Thanks so much Todd and Willie!

This was my very first ski mountaineering experience and it could not have been more positive. Our group of five had the privilege of learning from and skiing with Todd and Willy while rock climbing, repelling, and everything in between. Each day was a new skill and invaluable exchanges of information, about the task at hand as well as general avalanche information, or personal experiences. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable, continually teaching and encouraging us to try new things, and push our limits. 11/10 recommend this course and anything else offered by this team. Thanks so much you guys!
