I would not recommend this doctor. He is demeaning and has a temper and treats his patients like crap if they inconvenience with questions or concerns. He also didn't keep record of my vaccinations so I cannot prove that I had mine done there. He has also been known to drop patients if he doesn't like them and he is not quick to get people the medication they need on time.You can find a much more professional, thorough, prompt, and dedicated doctor elsewhere.

I was his patient for 4 years. He is a genuine, caring doctor with a strong concience. Blunt and honest. A refreshing change from doctors who capitalize on the huge financial returns of addictive RXs. Painkillers weaken your bodies natural pain tolerance, put you at risk over exertion and further injury, weaken your cognitive and mental abilities, all while slowly killing the rest of your organs. I have degenerative disks in my upper and lower spine, sciatica and a few other things such as nerve damage and building disks. Since Dr Vanstaden weaned me off of everything...I don't even require tramadol to get through the day, rarely even motrin or Tylenol, because I have become healthier, stronger, wiser and far more productive than I ever was just numbing the pain. My body has developed a high tolerance and STRENGTH...which is as it should be, how it was meant to be, how our bodies are designed...to overcome. So in spite of all the people who want to slander him, I would like to THANK him...for giving me my life back. He doesn't prescribe loosley...BECAUSE HE CARES ABOUT PATIENT'S HEALTH, NOT MONEY. God bless you, Dr Vanstaden, for doing what is right, despite the ugliness you get in return from ungrateful, uneducated fly-by-night patients. You ROCK!!!! Keep standing your ground.

He is my wife s doctor, my daughters doctor and my grandson's. Soon my other daughter will be going to him also, and when iam in need I'll go see him also. I have never seen a doctor more caring and kind in my life and o trust him literally with my wife s life. My family will go there as long as he will have us. Thank you dr. Gavin Van Staden for all you do

Dr. Gavin is great doctor. I did only have one visit with him though. He was very professional and very through. However, I give one star because after requesting records for myself and wanting records for VOC REHAB I was required to sign a release form for MYSELF. I didn't sign a release form for VOC REHAB becuase the office lost my release form for myself and I wanted to let VOC REHAB copy my records. He declined me as a patient after that because of not having a release form for VOC REHAB. It is my personal records and I can release them personally to whom I choose. I also have the right to obtain my record and make my own personal file. I might also add that no other medical facilty of various types have I ever needed to sign a release for myself.
