I recently had my transmission replaced on my 2012 chevy Silverado HD2500 and the staff was extremely helpful and did an amazing job. I definitely recommend coming here if you have any issues with your transmission.

I take my car here anytime there is ever an issue from breaks to engine. They have always been great at getting the problem fixed. The only concern I've had is when I've had a check in time of 9 am and a it's a front break change and I'm getting told to pick up my car at 5pm and i live in eagle mountain being told i need to hurry and get there, they will try to stay open for me. That's an issue when I've been coming to aamco for several years. The other concern is when work is warranted and yet I go back in for my AC going back out and the same hose is busted and I'm being told I need to pay for the hose repair again and the recharge of it all. Other then those instances no issues. When they broke a part on my engine they replaced it. When they didnt put the clamps on right to my fuel pump the fixed it at no charge. They are fair prices better then the dealership that's for sure. They have payment options from snap credit, rcwilley, and amco credit card. We have tried all three from them. I dont know what other options they have. I've been able to always call and get in the day I call for. If it's the day before. Same day I can usually get in the next day. The aamco an american fork is not open on Saturday even though I think they should be. Make it happen. Anyway I gave them a three star because of the recent issue i had with them on my aamco credit card being declined and the guy didnt call the card service so i had to call then go back in the next day and have them reverse the charges on my credit card to charge my aamco card. As well for the time frame it took for the break change and how I had to repay for warranted work. Good work doesnt mean I forget everything else.

The transmission in my truck went out so I went to an independent garage and had them put in a used one. After getting my truck back I wanted to have it checked by a GMC dealer to make sure everything looked good. When I called a GMC place they told me it would be $130 per hour to have it checked out....just for a diagnostic check... I looked up some transmission specialist and found AAMCO in American Fork. I called them up and they were super nice and helpful. They looked over my truck and gave me a ton of information! When I asked how much I owed them they told me it was all free. Dude...they've been a huge help and did it in the best way I could imagine! 5 stars, easy.
