My wife and I took the family to Wimberley to eat a nice dinner and see the trail of lights. We decided on the CCC because the ratings were decent and the menu matched our taste. The kids ordered, cheeseburgers, chicken strips and sandwich/salad plates and my wife and I ordered the chicken fried steak. The kids enjoyed their dinners but the chicken fried steak was a disaster. The batter is so thick the meat was raw in the center, my wife sent hers back and they gave her a steak with much less batter and it was cooked through. I had already had several bites of mine and had had chewed up one extremely raw piece of meat and was done eating so I elected to not send mine back. Once my wife received her second steak we never saw our waiter again not sure if he thought we would complain or what but I don't blame the wait staff for having a poor chef. I had to ask for our check from another waiter and we paid, tipped and left. About 3:30am I woke up to incredible pain and bloated stomach, I'll spare you the details of the next couple of hours. Who knows what's the circumstances where but I have to believe it's more the norm than a rarity!

Poor service. Wait staff too busy chatting. Waitress served us with attitude. Food is very pour quality may be good after 5 drinks.
