My time at Enterhealth Ranch was a high quality and personally challenging experience. My therapist (Laura) was exceptional as were the other therapists I met with when she was off site. There is no facility that is perfect but I have to say that the staff are more than adequate in their roles and they have the heart and compassion to be there working with each patient to meet their individual needs. The food is excellent and the views on the property are breathtaking. You will get out of this treatment facility what you put in. You need to be prepared to attend the classes and I encourage you to build relationships with other patients who are there with you. Be an advocate for yourself and speak up if you find that you have a need or concern that is not being addressed. I am grateful for my time there and I look forward to attending alumni nights to encourage others on their journey.

Enterhealth got me sober. The lessons, advice and counseling I received at Enterhealth KEPT me sober. For reference, I'm writing this 9 months into my sobriety/recovery as of yesterday (Sobriety date 5/19/2023). I checked into Enterhealth in late May of 2023 having burned many bridges due to my alcoholism. By diagnostic standards, I met all of "the signs" of an alcoholic all the way back in 2018. Rather than admitting I had an issue I decided to try to live in active defiance and denial of my addiction. Five years later it all caught up to me. I ruined the relationship with the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I embarrassed myself in the academic setting (law school). I let those that loved and supported me down. I tarnished my professional reputation as a former crime reporter. But most importantly, I had been the main roadblock in my life. I was my own worst enemy. Enterhealth helped educate me about my disease (alcoholism is a disease and no one can convince me otherwise). Enterhealth also educated my love ones about my disease and how to best move forward. Now, writing a review for a treatment center is an interesting task. Treatment only works if the person with the addiction WANTS TO GET SOBER. This may seem harsh but at the end of the day they have the freedom to take the time while they are in treatment to educate themselves and prepare for a better more fulfilling life. The people that I know from treatment WHO HAVE NOT STAYED SOBER thus far either did not take treatment seriously or they simply are not ready to change. There are people who left reviews for the Ranch that I know from my time being there did not want to be sober and still to this day refuse the idea of abstinence regarding their drug of choice. They are still in denial of their affliction and that sucks. I took my thirty days at the ranch seriously. My detox period at the Ranch was brutal. It was also incredibly scary. But not addressing my addiction is far more frightening. I continued to use Enterhealth for Outpatient Treatment upon my discharge from the Ranch. I had plenty of other options but I wanted to use the same folks that helped me obtain the first thirty days of sobriety-- something I could never obtain on my own. Enterhealth has a multi-pronged approach to addiction and if I can get sober, someone that was dry-heaving each morning, so can you or your loved one-- but they HAVE TO WANT IT. Lastly, sobriety is amazing. I still have some minor issues and life is never easy-- but it is far more manageable in sobriety. I'm still in the process of righting past wrongs and making amends with those that I harmed but I wouldn't have gotten this far without Enterhealth. PS: Their alumni association for sober patients is phenomenal and keeps me engaged with the community.

I had one super good stay at the ranch, but this last experience was absolutely unacceptable. The first night of Withdrawal was met by one of the staff that was there to check on me/take my vitals HANDING ME PRESSED M30/BLUE FENTANYL PILLS. I was in such a bad state of mind/withdrawl so of course I used them with her. It absolutely ruined my stay, and I was still using those first couple days due to her. I have had to have multiple STD and blood tests as Im not sure what she/they did to me once I was passed out after using with her. I came clean with the rest of the staff and higher ups and was met with coldness and blame from everyone. This girl was allowed to continue treating patients at other facilities and ZERO legal action was taken- which resulted in this girl and others threatening my life to the point I was having panic attacks, crying, and did not feel safe in my cabin/at this facility at all they didnt even have a front gate/fence at the time so they allowed absolutely whoever to come in/out of the property and I couldve died multiple times (whether from provided fentanyl, drug dealers, or this particular girl on staff.) I tried to get my week there compensated provided an employee was practically feeding me fentanyl bedside and was essentially laughed at. The nursing staff chose to insult and blame me for it too while denying meds. I chose to AMA out of there my stay this time and check into another facility which is working absolute wonders for me. This place used to be wonderful and effective now not so much. Im currently taking legal action and at the very least need my week stay compensated to me. DO NOT GO TO ENTERHEALTH. I have not got my insurance return from my first stay nearly a year ago as they have changed employees responsible for that multiple times, and am still waiting on an itemized list. They use contracted employees who know absolutely nothing and provide deadly illicit drugs. The turnover for every position at this facility is so high.. for a good reason. I just want my money back for this RIDICULOUS experience, and they are going to make even that a huge mentally taxing experience. I cannot recommend staying AWAY from this place enough. There is a couple gems of employees, but most of them are constantly new, incompetent, mean, and/or have bad intentions.
