This was our go-to place since 2022 when we moved back to Texas. Prices were already very high and they just substantially increased again for basic services (now almost $200 for oil change and tire rotation). They also push 'immediate attention' preventative maintenance items on to you that are 10's of thousand of miles too early vs. published dealer maintenance schedules. Not because you actually need it, but only because they want to charge you for it. Not trustworthy and not a place I will do business with anymore.

Update as of 3/09. Mike, the new business manager at Adams, read my prior review and called me within a half hour of posting. He patiently listened to my case and decided to cover all post Adams repair costs that were necessary to get my sister's car back to proper operating form. He immediately had a check cut and personally handed the check to me. Can't ask for more than that as a response. Very well handled and very appreciated here. Mike mentioned that he has made some changes there to improve work procedures, quality control and, most importantly, customer service. I believe him. Have increased my star rating from a zero(they only go down to 1 though) to a three. If we have a future need to take the car there for service and have a good experience, I'll raise the rating even further. Prior review - The easiest way to communicate this is we took my sister's car in for a simple oil change and $2,400 later, the car was in far worse shape than when she got there. It was only AFTER Adams worked on the vehicle that it immediately began having very bad timing problems which is what Adams said needed to be worked on(they replaced a timing cover gasket). Lots of detail needed to explain these comments but the bottom line fact as explained above is not refutable. So, my sister is now spending another $1400 to get the issue fixed in Dallas. I won't even cover what that shop(somehow affiliated with Adams - recommended by Adams - she said they work on potential Adams warranty issues) mentioned to her regarding the issues her car is having. That shop has very good people. All I can say is that no one in this family will EVER step foot in the Adams shop again. NOT EVER. Be VERY careful if you choose to do so. In fact, when you go to the Yelp reviews, you'll see a reviewer with nearly the EXACT same issue with Adams as we had. Almost literally and just a few months before my sister's experience. Isn't that interesting? If I could give Adams a zero star rating, I would.
