Just Brakes

Thanks PepBoys for trying to kill my wife and her grand daughter.... Will never consider going to these con artists. My wife took her 2007 Buick Lucerne in to have the brakes checked and they quoted her $1000 to replace the brake booster and master cylinder. She declined and they left OFF THE VACUUM LINE TO THE POWER BOOSTER which rendered the brakes useless and had to get the car towed back to the house since I was unable to get to the vehicle to check it out. The issue boiled down to a bad check valve ($5.99 at AutoZone) and a brake system bleed. I have no idea where they got the idea that this would cost $1000, but rendering the vehicle useless after checking it is just a foul move for any kind of mechanic shop!

The best new tire purchase experience in my life. Wait time minimal on a Friday afternoon. Made appointment about 6 hours before. No pressure on brands. Very nice hard working crew. So nice I tipped them which I have never done before. Price was about 50% what I paid at other large chain stores. I would gladly go here again.

Friendly staff and very professional. I went in for a brake light replacement on my 2014 Honda CRV. Barry(manager) diagnosed the problem, quickly. Next time I visit Temple and need car repair, Pep Boys will have my business.
