Mr. Jan's Math Class - Telfair

While I have never been tutored at this location, Mr. Jan tutored me in middle school because I was friends with his son and I needed help in math. He's so smart and has an amazing way of explaining things in simpler terms. Helped me bump a letter grade back in the day, which put me on course to keep doing honors math. Go to him for real.

Mr. Jan's ability to communicate complex concepts (math) in a simplistic manner is absolutely world class!

If you want a place to drop off your kids for an hour to do homework, without any true instruction or lead, then this is a great place! I'm not sure of spending this kind of money, with Mr. Jan is the right thing or not, but this set up does not work for everyone. I expected Tutor to be just that, a tutor! Someone that helps assist the children and teach them proper way to do math. If you want your kids to be degraded if they ask a question and do not know some thing, then this is the place for you! He told my daughter tonight when she asked a question that," you don't pay attention in class and this is why you are here!" REALLY?? I spent thousands of dollars for two of my kids to come here and was was a total waste of money and our time! I'm in no way done roasting this place or Mr. Jan himself!
