my son got a kid pancake breakfast, I got the omelette and my baby girl got kids tenders. My son gets to the end of his plate and notices a tiny bug. Now by this time, hes already eaten the entire meal and notices the bug and brings it to my attention. I did not go from 0 to 100 or any of that the waitress went and got the manager and the manager came to the table. I told my son youre a teen youre old enough to talk for yourself so let her know about your experience and what you found when you got to the bottom of your plate, he showed her which the plate is pictured below. Her cocky response was immediately well. Ill take off his meal but Im not gonna take off yours. Im like I didnt eat my meal nor did my baby girl because thats a major turnoff. We dont want it. My son felt like he had to vomit from the thought of possibly eating bugs. I stated you can go ahead and take the plate back and take my daughters plate back as well. We cant eat here. She tells me she still has to charge me for my food even though I didnt eat, but a bite because my son showed me the bug and I was turned off and couldnt eat another bite. My daughter was already eating and I was gonna pay for my sons and mines. After that experience we couldnt even get apologetic demeanors. The manager had an attitude about taking the food back, not charging us, and us walking away due to THEIR negligence!! Im not the culprit, Im the VICTIM AND SO ARE MY CHILDREN!! I could have raised hell and nutted up but I kept my composure even after the manager was super cocky and unapologetic. Then the icing on the cake was, the waitress came by and asked did I want a carry out and I said no thanks, I cant eat this so no reason to take it with me. She stared at me as if I completely disrespected her by saying in a nice calm manner, no thank you I cant eat it after that. So she immediately followed up with its not my fault why you screaming at me I didnt come to work today to be yelled at!! Im like, girl what??!! I literally have NEVER been as calm as I was being so immediately I knew she was TRYING to start something w/me, because SHE delivered food to the table with bugs!! I never blamed her!! I actually was thinking she would be apologetic and we would talk about the experience in a respectful manner but that didnt happen. She continued to pick a fight and Im like look, if you were sitting at the dinner table with your family, and one of your family members notices a bug in their food, would you lose your appetite and not wanna eat there anymore? She says I wouldnt but why are you yelling at me I didnt come to work to get yelled at!! I said maam Im not being disrespectful, loud or hostile. Why are you attempting to pick a fight?? My issue is really w/nobody ! She says Im going to leave this table now excuse me!! I immediately looked at my son who was just as lost as to why she is picking a fight w/me while Im calm?? so the manager comes back to the table. Now mind you I was waiting for some type of resolution from the manager because earlier she said that she wasnt going to take my food off the bill just my sons and my daughters was free and walked away, so I was waiting for her to respond. the manager came back to the table as if she came back to check me about. She said that the waitress came to tell me about the bill and she wanted to understand why I was still sitting there being hostile? I start actually questioning if the solar eclipse really did mess with peoples brains or was it the drugs, I still dont have the answer to that question. Dont do drugs kids! Its straight customer service, dos and donts! All in all it was disrespectful, nasty, and unfriendly! Unless you like bugs in your food and a cocky manager and a clueless waitress, then I would advise you to stay far away from the Dennys on I 45 in Shenandoah! FAR AWAY!

Our service is always 5 stars!! Ana is my favorite she is so attentive always asking us if we are doing good! She makes sure our food comes out perfect! She is amazing!!
