I went for a consultation, this place was recommended by fiancee bridal curves in Katy, they even said she was one of the best options they had. I drove about an hour since I live in Katy, my appointment was at 2:15 and I waited until 3 PM because she went to a Dr.'s appointment (apparently only her time is valuable). she helped me put my dress on and told her that the dressed needed to be hem, adjust it since it's a little lose on me and add 2 off the shoulder sleeves, she wanted to charge me $800+ . I told her I had to talk to my fiancé and I also wanted to see what my sister's opinion was, and Carmen insisted to call my fiancé right there and then so I can leave my dress with her, after I told her I was going to go back if I decided to have her fix it, she didn't even want to help me take the dress off and of course I didn't go back with my dress, I found another place closer to me, better prices and respectful of my time.

For the other posters, they are not overpriced. Their work more than justifies the price. I had my wedding dress altered here and I cannot describe the amazing quality. They did things like hand back-stitched every single piece of lace. What that means is every stitch is like a lock so if you snag the lace on anything the whole dress won't fall apart like it would if you got low quality, cheap alterations. I could go on, but I will just say they did not cut ANY corners. I wouldn't trust my wedding dress, or any meaningful clothing, to anyone else.

Extremely overpriced.... I came in to get fitted for my wedding dress... it needed to be hemmed and taken in a little at the shoulders. Only bead work was at the top portion of the dress she tried to charge me $750... I was speechless I asked her how much just to just hem the dress... she said $450. I ended up going to a different place that was highly recommended and only spent $275 for the same services. Will not be recommending this place to anyone for their bad business and price gouging.
