Baja Cantina

This place is a joke. The guy working the kitchen does a good job but that's it. Bar tender took my drink order and vanished. It actually looked like he was afraid of the bar. The server that was working the floor took my order after he noticed I was being ghosted. I should have known what to expect when I walked into a completely empty restaurant at 2pm on a Sunday.

My wife and I checked out of Gaylord Texan and wanted quick lunch at a place we'd never been before. We skipped downtown Grapevine and landed at Baja Cantina. We decided from the outside well its only lunch we can eat again later. Once inside you can see from the interior thay got it right! Lots of artistic touches and a lively vibe to the place. There wad a well stocked full service bar and a wine storage room. Our server wad attentive but he didnt join the party which was perfect. Chips and salsa is the standard fair but the salsa wad soooo good! Finally or food cam out. I ordered fish tacos and they are in the running for BEST IN DFW! My wife enjoyed her meal as well. What a nice surprise.

Nice waitress but NEVER GOT FOOD!!!! We were table of 3, greeted by waitress who took our order right away at 7:10pm. Ordered street tacos-- easy. We waited and waited and waited. Our waitress kept refilling our drinks saying it would be out soon. When we saw the table next to us get their elaborate order of food, who came in 30 min after we did, we told waitress we were leaving. She again apologized and no manager or anyone else working there came to make it right. WE WAITED OVER 50 MIN. AND NO FOOD!
