My experience with Sears has been abysmal, to say the least; after only 5 months, I began having problems with my Kenmore French door fridge; the freezer does not stay cold, and the ice maker is constantly leaking. Which inevitably started this horrific 3-year-long ordeal that has yet to be resolved. I spoke to the customer service representatives Dexter, Al, Alex, and about 20 other representatives. I was offered a $50.00 gift card to purchase a freezer. Mind you, I have a three-year protection agreement. I'm a teacher, and after a long day of inspiring our students to believe in themselves and elevate their spirits, I should be able to come home and enjoy ice in a drink or chilled food without having to store everything in a garage freezer. I most recently worked with Dino Barzinjee from Houston, Texas, who claimed he would help resolve this issue. I have yet to receive a follow-up call. When I call customer service, I just keep getting the run around that it is getting escalated. I need an immediate response from a district manager to address my concern before I go to the Better Business Bureau. I was finally approved for a replacement refrigerator on June 20, 2022. The refrigerator has been ordered and the delivery date has been canceled four times. A customer service representative in the Master Protection Benefits department has even lied and told me that after the delivery date has been canceled four times, then they would send me a check so that I could purchase my refrigerator and a three-year protection plan. I really need to issue resolved today!! I would have loved to continue to be a Sears customer, but after this experience, I will NEVER return.
