Ribs were awesome! Surprisingly great food for a hole in the wall joint.

Recently stopped into The Iron Cactus one weekend while renting a beach house along the coast. Some friends recommended it, and we liked it so much we went there for dinner twice in one weekend! The real star of the menu is the BBQ. The brisket was some of the most delicious I have ever had (even including my visits to Luling and Lockhart). Everything was fresh and delicious, including the great salads and appetizers. The beer is cold and very reasonably priced. If you're in Sargent or anywhere around Matagorda County, you owe it to yourself to check The Iron Cactus out!
