Incompetence! I have lived in San Marcos a little over a year, and have yet to see a real doctor at this clinic. This past week, I realized I was running g out of blood pressure medication, but this place wouldn't authorize a refill without me making an appointment. Of course, I had to wait until Monday for an appointment, even though I would I would run out on Friday. Monday comes, I go see them, and then have to wait until after 4pm before the pharmacy has my prescription. I am supposed to take this medication twice a day. These people don't care about ANYTHING except money. I called my insurance company and got them to refer me to a different office where I can actually see a doctor!

This place should have been shut down long ago, I personally wouldn't let these so called health care professionals take my temperature let alone perform medical treatment on myself. My poor wife who just today went there to get her monthly Doctors visit out of the way due to the fact that she suffers from high blood pressure, Fibromyalgia, and chronic back pain due to facets disease this office requires patients to come in monthly to get their prescriptions refilled. I cannot believe that somebody with high blood pressure and is required to take blood pressure medication would actually have to see the Doctor every time they needed heart meds refilled. What happened to the good ol' " Hippocratic Oath" that so many health care providers have seem to forgotten? This Office is ran by an Dr. Clogston who runs his office with more of a Dictatorship than a family clinic. I had my wife at the clinic 30 minutes before her appointment just to have her wait close to 3 hours just to be seen by the nurse not the Doctor mind you just the nurse. the Doctor came in another hour and 15 minutes later. The only thing I can say that they were timely on was the part where they take your payment that in itself was done as always in record time. After the wait of several hours finally my wife was seen by the Doctor who plainly shows us that he is well past retirement stage by not only misunderstanding what he has been told by my wife the patient but then taking it to a more drastic level by yelling at her with the utmost disrespect and saying that she either sign a medical release form or he will not refill her medications all in itself is totally wrong but the fact that we are talking about ones heart medication and all this being done by the Doctor when my wife was never asked to sign anything let alone a release form. But isnt that something that a Doctor can threaten to not give you medications needed simply at his will because he thinks you wont sign a document that you were never asked to sign? That is against medical policy to force one to release information against their will if had she been refusing such but she wasnt refusing his request. Now after she tried to let this sorry excuse of an Doctor know that she would sign his papers but didnt know why he thought that she refused was simply told that the appointment had ended and that she needed to leave, and yes of course without the heart medication that she needed. So if you think that youre in good hands at this clinic let me tell you that you should reconsider its a matter of life or death. I will state this that his attitude did soften a little not much when he was informed that we were cash customers and not medicare or medicaid and that alone let us know that this office cares not for your health but only cares about how healthy your bank account is when payment is due. Please take your loved ones some place safe any place but here.
