Today, my husband and I purchased our 2011 Kia Optima with a brand new engine with warranty. I came across Mega Motors online and so glad we stopped by. Amir was extremely nice, patient and answered all of our questions. Couldnt wait to come home and surprise our kiddos with our new family car. My husband walked out with a car and a job. lol. I bought a 2011 Kia Sorento on 7/10 quick and easy. Within 1 week I was stuck in Corpus Christi due to a coolant rubber hose having a hole on the inside curve. I called Amir and he told me that the coolant may have evaporated in the sun before I paid 150 for a local mechanic to replace the tube. 3 weeks later car engine starts sounding funny. I take it in and the oil change mechanic said the oil was very dark and low. 2 weeks later the I can't accelerate past 40 mph. I get it to the dealership and Kia says the engine is on recall and the engine is on backorder. Amir asks me to give him an extra $100 so he can push it to come in sooner. I've never had this many issues when buying a used car. I've been without a car since 8/16 and I just paid the first car note on 9/11. Be sure to have the car checked before you buy it before you end up like me! I see the reviews from before which makes sense if the car was functional. But my vehicle isn't and now I'm suffering because of it.///Update 1/14/2022. Just got my car back. The issue? the car I bought had a 2008 Kia Optima engine, not the Sorento engine. Unbelievable.
