Wilkinson Tutoring

I hired Mrs. Wilkinson to develop a plan for my daughter who was going to start homeschooling in the middle of her 9th grade year and is taking Geometry. She did a good job reviewing the curriculum I have chosen for my daughter and comparing it to what she had already been taught. Her advice allowed me to decide what was the best way to start my daughter in her second semester. She was knowledgeable in different teaching styles. She also was very patient with my daughter and talked to her in a gentle manner. I will definitely consider hiring her as a tutor in the future if my daughter requires it. :)

Megan is awesome with my son Xavier. She does a great job spending time with him to explain lessons and sets high expectations with him. She is a great and very effective math tutor. We noticed a nice jump in his grades since hes been with Megan!

Megan has been a godsend for my kids this year for Algebra! School during Covid left them struggling with the pace this year as well as some concepts that didnt get driven home last year. Shes very thorough in making sure the kids have a solid knowledge of each step in the topic of study which is essential for math. She was also flexible in working with us as we have a tutoring group consisting of 8th graders and 11th graders. Megan also makes sure that the kids have access to her for questions on homework or issues that come up between tutoring sessions. I did a lot of research looking for tutors and I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Megan!! A+++++

She has tutored both of my daughters and they both think she is an awesome tutor. They comprehend everything she explains and I love how she lets them try to figure it out first. Then if they get stomped on a problem she steps in and gives them the help they need or remind them of a step they may have missed. I would highly recommend her, you wont regret it!!

I received tutoring from Megan because I realized I was required to take my tsi, I got one out of ten questions right on the practice exam and it became apparent I needed help. Megans tutoring twice a week for a month gave me more than I needed to pass my exam.
