I was a late transfer trying to find a friendlier vbac provider. I found one! Robin is a wealth of knowledge. I am grateful for the wonderful healing experience I got to have at the center.

I was recommended by my sister-in-law to have Robin as my midwife during my first pregnancy. I am beyond happy with experience Ive had at Westover Hills Birth Center and would highly recommend it! Robin is professional, very knowledgeable, patient and kind, you can feel she really cares and knows what shes doing. Ive had a risk of going through a C-section but I am glad I trusted Robin and my baby boy was born naturally without any medical interventions. If you chose WHBC you will be in trustworthy and caring hands 100%

Robin and Julie are exceptionally knowledgeable in their profession and provided a lot of reassurance and guidance to my husband and I throughout my pregnancy and birth experience as first-time parents. We were comforted by the birth center's proximity to the hospital and Robin's hospital transfer history - she is not afraid to transfer when medically necessary essay which gave us peace of mind. I was set on having an unmedicated birth out-of-hospital if at all possible and Westover Hills was able to facilitate that for me while still assuring us that my health and baby's health was paramount and if necessary emergency measures could be quickly taken.

Robin is very knowledgeable and experienced, but make sure your personalities work together. My personality did not work with her at all. I wasn't allowed to come into center when my contractions were 2.5 minutes apart and 1 minute long because I was in "early labor" because she decided that without actually really talking to me. Everything I asked for didn't matter. I felt like I was supposed to just shut up and get it over with. My experience was bad enough that I have a hard time driving by the center, it gives me flashbacks and negative feelings and sometimes I start crying. The worst part was when I finally came in, Robin acted like I was being dramatic and rolled her eyes at my husband and me. When in reality I went through transition and everything at home, I literally don't know how I could have been less dramatic for her. Then she tried to gaslight me into believing it was my fault for not getting to the center earlier. I know birth is unpredictable, but all she had to do was listen to me. I had one request not to push on my back and she forced me to. It was so unproductive and I asked not to in the middle of pushing to change positions. She told me I had to prove I could push on my back before I could change positions. So heartbreaking, that was my number one reason for wanting a midwife. I felt so powerless and unimportant during the whole birth process. A process which should be focusing on the woman I felt like I was in the way and an inconvenience. It makes me afraid to have another baby. I was already terrified of hospitals and now this option has been ruined also for me. I did really connect with Julie, I wish she had been the main midwife.

Animals don't even get treated as bad as they treat people. Do Not expect a receipt for anything they do they will not send you one they don't want to prove anything You can order the same heart doppler they expect you to use on wish for $25 dollars This place is strictly in business for the money looking for easy jobs. They DO NOT CARE about you, you're baby, or any birthing wishes you may have
