Went to lunch here with the work gang and we had a great time. The service was good and so was the food. This place also doubles as a comedy club and it also has live music. We took a chance with this place and we hit the jackpot. If you're in the area and want to laugh and eat then look no further.

I really like supporting local spots and drove past here with a craving for tamales. The attendant that took my order was very nice and patient with my questions as a first timer. She gave me recommendations and fan favorites so that was very nice. Now to the food, the bean and cheese taco I always order to get an idea of what to expect even though it’s easy it’s so common people mess it up so easily. It was tasty not too greasy perfect cheesy and the tortilla tasted like it may be homemade or just good quality. The chicken tamales were so good and with the green salsa it gave it an extra kick and the masa is so perfectly done. The pork tamales, man it’s my favorite and I was really looking forward to it but was disappointed from the first bite. I bit in it while because I was so excited and now regret that choice because I bit into a huge chunk of fat like half the meat in the tamale was fat and I cannot stand fatty ness on meat it shouldn’t be in there, cut it off! It’s filled and deceiving and not even really edible. I got sick in my mouth from the texture. I couldn’t eat the rest and don’t even want to look at them so I’ll just give them away. Such a disappointment I hate when businesses do that. More people enjoy the actual pork than fatty parts and if so offer them as an option don’t just include them. If I do go back I will only order the chicken as long as the rest don’t have fat either I only had one of each and I got them for work and am kind of upset I have to eat them again. I gave three stars for the service that’s what saved them.
