Edit to add: I have been back several times since my first review and they are still the best Mediterranean restaurant. Their service is better than ever, and if you haven't tried them yet, you absolutely need to! Absolutely delicious!!! Due to being shortstaffed there was a small wait but so worth it!! I ordered the soup, the gyro wrap with a Greek salad, and a hibiscus limonada. Cannot wait to come back for more amazing food!

A group of us came from Austin after hearing about Tripolis, it was worth the trip. Tripoli's offers a culinary journey through the rich flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. For starters, we tried hummus and Labaneh, both which came with warm delicious bread; additionally, we ordered lamb kabob, gyro wraps, and grilled chicken with rice pilaf all which tasted superb. For desert we ordered the kanafa, mouth watering good! All their desserts are made in house, this is rather hard to find at Mediterranean places in San Antonio. The service at Tripoli's is impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that every need is met promptly and courteously. Will be back!

I dont even live in San Antonio but would consider moving from a foodie rich city like Austin Texas just to be in proximity to Tripolis!! Stepping foot into the lavishly furnished eatery, your senses of sight and smell are roused by the intimate comforts of the layout, coupled with the aromatics emitting from the kitchen. The Mediterranean menu kissed with Libyan touches is to die for, there is no wrong answer, just dinning to a euphoric state. DONT LEAVE without trying their Knafeh dessert and latte of your choice.
