Chef's Table Turkish Mediterranean Grill

We LOVED everything about this restaurant. The bread with the spicy dipping sauce and the babaganoush were delicious. We got the mixed grill for one and the doner pide to share between the two of us. Great portion sizes with lots of leftovers, and everything was perfectly seasoned. The baklava was my favorite Ive had in San Antonio. On top of the great food, our server Sasha was so friendly and made our time there memorable. She helped us choose our entrees since it was our first time and she was very attentive throughout our meal. We will definitely be back soon!

Wow. This was a pleasant surprise. The food was amazing, it was served hot and fresh. The decor was beautiful. They didnt have hot appetizers or wraps/sandwiches on weekend, but I am overall very happy with our experience.

Where to begin lol... To start with we waited about 30 minutes to get our drinks that were never refilled, and an hour and a half to get our food in a restaurant with only two other couples in the restaurant. We couldn't figure out where the server was until we finally noticed he was sitting with all the other staff eating at a side table. When our food finally comes we were given extremely cheap plastic utensils wrapped in plastic. Plastic so cheap it was difficult to eat some of the meats. Once we got our food the server never came back because he went back to chilling at the staff table. The food wasn't even that great. We heard so many good things about the food here, but found it subpar. However, the spicy dipping oil for the bread was great. Sadly, it was the only item they served worth mentioning. We weren't the only customers annoyed. The table behind us were fuming because they had been waiting for 30 minutes for their check after telling the guy twice they would like to leave. For two we paid $76.99 for lunch. We have never paid so much and got customer service this bad. We won't be going back. In response to your reply, we knew what your prices were going to your restaurant. That wasn't the issue. Our issue was that the quality of service did not match the price. We appreciate the offer a better solution. I'm sure our visit may have not been the average experience there. However, ours was bad enough that we wouldn't go back for even a free meal. Not suggesting you would offer a free meal to make up for our experience.
