If I could give ZERO stars I would, this office is incompetent. Staff claims to be nurses but have no proper medical knowledge. Staff is rude and unwilling to help, and claim the doctors do not speak directly to patients. Which is sad because the staff is unskilled.

I show up for my appointment and physically hand them my two insurance cards. I can only assume they typed whatever they wanted so they purposely wouldnt get paid through insurance. Name, address, policy info is all incorrect. So I call to correct it because Im not trying to get a bill and ruin my credit. They literally didnt care at all to fix it and put me on hold hoping Id hang up, they never came back to the phone for over 12 minutes at which point their system dropped the call. I called back and reached someone who helped me thankfully. I have noticed a trend of this happening here in San Antonio and it is absolutely insurance fraud, getting the proper insurance and patient information should be priority and purposely putting the wrong info will only hurt people and keep them from returning. Two stars, added a star only because the lady I spoke with in the end fixed it herself and was kind about it.

Felt like since Wellmed took over nothing but a bad experience. How do you not tell people your insurance will no longer be accepted and you need to find a new doctor so you can continue on meds without stopping. I never received a letter. No excuse especially if they know you need approval for a medication. I called last Thursday got an appointment then a call to say they don't take insurance from a very unprofessional person. I called back but never got a callback.
