If you have been practicing barefoot massage for a long time ( or are considering doing so ) and want to level up your technique, I highly recommend the Center for Barefoot Massage. Training material was well thought out and created by veteran therapists with validation of effectiveness and confirmation from industry pathologist for safe applications of barefoot work. Whenever I felt class was overwhelming the instructors took extra time to go over it with individual students in a compassionate way. I also felt safe learning under their COVID protocol. My clients were wowed with CBM version of Barefoot Massage (aka FasciAshi). Looking forward to take Relax Track (Hot Ashi) & Clinical Track!

The Center for Barefoot Massage is a national continuing education company that teaches massage therapists how to use their feet to provide myofascial ashiatsu barefoot massage techniques. Although the company hub is in San Antonio, there are multiple locations across the country, and it's great to have interchangeable locations to train out of from experienced instructors who are passionate about this work.

I previously took classes for barefoot massage at another facility but working with The Center for Barefoot Massage, specifically Jeni Springs, I was able to gain much more insight and functionality for performing this type of massage. When you are there, they make you feel like a family not just a student. Anyone looking to further their massage therapy arsenal, this is the school for you. I can't wait to continue my education and take my next class with her.
