THESE GUYS INSTALLED A DECK 5 YRS AGO - 6 MOS AFTER IT WAS COMPLETED, BOARDS STARTED ROTTING - EVEN THO IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY, THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR FIXING IT, BUT WOULD SKIP THE CHARGES IF I SAID SOMETHING NICE ABOUT THEM ON LINE - HERE WE R 5 YRS LATER, BOARDS WERE ROTTING ALL OVER THE DECK - DECK WAS FALLING APART, LITERALLY DISINTEGRATING - I WALKED OUT ONTO THE DECK AND FELL THRU THE DECK, INJURING MYSELF BADLY - I HAD DECK REPAIR GUYS COME OUT AND AFTER REMOVING BOARDS, THEY FOUND THE ENTIRE BASE OF THE DECK TOTALLY ROTTED OUT - COULDNT B FIXED - EVERY BOARD WAS ROTTED OUT - FOUND OUT THE IDIOTS ROUTED MY DRAIN FROM MY GUTTERS RIGHT UNDER MY DECK, SO TONS OF WATER WERE POOLED RIGHT UNDER THE DECK, WATER POOLED ON TOP OF THE DECK TOO FROM DAY ONE - I FOUND GARBAGE FROM THE SUPERIOR OUTDOOR DESIGN GUYS UNDER THE DECK - ALL OF THEIR TRASH, EXTRA BOARDS, THEIR WATER BOTTLES EVERYTHING, ALL UNDER THE DECK - NO WONDER I HAD RAT ISSUES...I AM SEEKING LEGAL COUNSEL - SUPERIOR WILL NOT RESPOND AT ALL - HORRIBLE COMPANY, SHODDY AND FALSE PROMISES ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE INSTALLING..THESE PEOPLE R THE WORST -

These guys made my 10X10 deck and did an AMAZING JOB!! Especially for the price. I recommend them for any deck type. I’m extremely happy and excited.

Edit: Gave Superior a second chance, had them come out and build the patio after all. The work is fantastic and was all completed in just a few hours by Ron. Still waiting on the roofing, but has been a much better experience and much better communication thus far. Should have read reviews before having them come out. It’s been two weeks since representative came out to quote us a price and draw up preliminary paperwork to start the process. Agreed to do business with them with the notion that they were “different than everyone else” and that they will be “communicative and hands on” through the whole process. Well after waiting two weeks to get the next steps started and multiple attempts to reach them, with no response. I do not feel secure giving them money and then not completing the work or not finishing what they promised.

I'm sure this company has a very strong reputation of quality builds in the region for upper and corporate class in the region, the concern is they are NOT a company our communities average middle class homeowners would hire. My family and I solicited a project quote for a one layer polygal pergalo roof project (12'x14'). We were quoted almost $14 a square foot, when the Regal Plastic company here in San Antonio only charges $6 a square foot for their standard polygal product. Superior Outdoor Designs claim to be "aggresively priced" which is a misnomer or a play on language interepretation. Their cost includes company insurance, job leads, transportation, location, high end hardware, and this does not even include the labor of install. This company SHOULD ADVERTISE they ONLY do projects for the UPPER & CORPORATE CLASS in the Bexar County Region. They have an extremely professional sales team that are very knowledgable and equally aggressive at defending exorbitant cost. Again NOT a Company for the average MIDDLE CLASS Homeowner - ESPECIALLY at the END of a WORLD WIDE Pandemic. RECOMMENDATION: Update your website accordingly !!

Just had a beautiful deck built by Superior. Robert initially came out and took some measurements and gave us some great ideas and suggestions. He was really personable and made us feel comfortable. Work started shortly after and we were in constant communication with Ryan, which I loved! I have nothing but great things to say and would highly recommend using them!
