Great service and an exceptional Product

I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I needed to share so no one else has to experience added stress on their special day. See photos posted by Roxanne I ordered a boutonnière from The Flower Florist. It’s a simple small piece, I even pick a picture from their website thinking it should be easy to recreate for them. I called a month in advance to see if they could do it and by when did I need to order. They stated to order 1 week in advance so they had time to order the flowers and anything else that was needed for the boutonnière. I placed the order a little over a week. The girl said it would be no problem getting the items and they would have it ready on time. What I received did not look like the picture. When I first saw it I thought it was small, something made for a 5 year old. I was in a rush, as we needed to head to our nail appointment. When we got to the nail salon I pulled up the picture I sent them and compared the two, not even close!! The customer service was awful when I called back to let them know what was missing. The spring roses were small, there was no greenery (one tiny leaf behind the small roses that you couldn’t see). They added instead some cheap plastic silver. There was no blackberry. All they provide me was excuses. They had a shipment of flowers that were damaged, they didn’t have much eucalyptus or blackberry. After being told to order a week ahead so they could have supplies needed!!! Never did I receive a call stating they would not be able to recreate the boutonnière as requested or if I could pick something else. They told me I could go by and they would try to fix it, by adding some greenery. But I had to go by before 1pm. I was at our nail appointment, which of course took longer than planned. I called back around 11:30 and got their answering service, which was even worse!! No attempt in trying to make this better. They pretty much said “it is what it is”, there’s nothing they can do sorry. This is the main reason I am writing the review. Prom is a special day for kids. For the girls they have a busy day scheduled with nail appointment, hair style, makeup and getting dressed up! The last thing you need is to be calling around to find someone willing to make a last minute boutonnière and driving all around town to pick it up. That’s exactly what I did!! H-E-B on 1606 and Blanco came to the rescue. They did an amazing job with what they had on hand. Do not use this place if you need something for a special event and do not want added stress!!!
