Dr. Penkava and her office is a mess! I am not talking about the physical arrangement, but yeah, that could be better organized as well. You can never get through to anyone. A week and a half before my son's medicine finished I began calling her to get a refill, my husband did as well. My calls became more urgent when he finally ran out and began having withdrawal symptoms. Still no response back. I even emailed her with no response. We left on vacation thereafter, and poor kid had severe anxiety the week we were there. I called today (we got back last night-Sunday) and finally got through to a human- not Dr. Penkava. He states he will give the message to Dr. Penkava. My son leaves to Camp CAMP on Sunday for a week. I am hoping he can get his medicine before he leaves. I will be finding another doctor at this point.

I would like to give them zero for the customer service They never never never answer the phone. I must leave the voice massage and wait for a long time. My insurance tried to all them about my benefits plan They surely didn’t answer the phone and even did not hear the voice massage from my insurance. My husband and I took one day off then my appointment cancel. Bad customer service at all.

Impersonal initial visit, cluttered office. I brought my daughter who was diagnosed with ADHD 4 years before here to get homeopathic options for treatment. The dr said she needed to test her again so that’s what we did. The doctor said the test results stated that she did not have ADHD And was a healthy child. I wanted further explanation and a discussion about current symptoms and requested it multiple times with no call back from the doctor. I requested a copy of the test results 2+ times verbally and in writing and I have not received those either. I started this process at the beginning of February before Covid hit and I’m still waiting for the results so I can get my daughter the appropriate care. I continue to call and leave messages with no call back or resolve. Would not recommend

She is certified in Acutonics and Acupuncture which has been helping People for only about 5,000 years. At times, she holds classes in Acutonics. I got a lot out of the class. Dr. Penkava has also been trained in Ayurveda which mainly uses food as medicine. Ayurveda’s body types almost exactly matches the blood types, and Dr. Penkava also works with Nutrition by Blood Type with “Eat Right F4r Your Blood Type.” I have been able to find out which foods digest the best. Dr. Penkava teaches Kundalini Yoga, and often has her Yoga class do the Moon Salutation during a Full Moon. She’s never dogmatic about the spiritual nature of Yoga, and you really get a work out while choosing when to take it easy. It has been said, “Only those who do Yoga can benefit from it. The prescriptions help me with chemical balance. The smells and the bells help me with psychological balance. Neurofeedback is also helpful. It’s helped me keep a busier schedule, helping me make changes more easily as well as maintain better focus and clarity throughout my day. The computer reads brainwaves, and there are games and movies to watch that the computer makes flow when the brain is read at the right frequency.
