The $3600 I spent was money down the drain. You sign a contract, then they give you a generic health “manual “ do blood test before but not after the program. If the calorie depletion diet is too low, my “Dr” said just eat more veggies…. But not too much. Uhhh ok. I lost 15 lbs by not eating for almost a week to reset my system but I’ve lost the same of other programs. I was disappointed in the “program”. Also the pyramid scheme they push that if you refer 4 people to the smoke and mirrors program you can get a stay in a time share! No thanks. The program is something I could have done and am now doing w/ my current Dr. That is covered under my insurance. Not $3600 of basic general knowledge copied black and white picture manual they give you once you sign on the dotted line.

Got stuck with a $1,600 from Labtech because of this snake. The person I met with wasn't even a doctor, he was chiropractor. They try to make small emotional issues seem worse so they have a reason to charge you for there "service" After expensive blood work "Doctor" Torres met with me. He first stated that I had gout then two sentences later his story changed to "oh you don't have now but you could get it". Just like his staff, he seemed inexperienced and desperate for patients. He would not explain how of his plan would be covered my insurance. They also make you sign something saying you agree to the cost of the bloodwork. The paper says it could be anywhere from $1,500 to $3,500. Which one is it? Well that's up to "Dr." Torres's bankroll to figure out. Not a good provider

This place makes you sign a paper saying you agree to the cost of the blood test but they won't tell you how much the cost is I received a bill for $1,200 from lab tech then an additional bill for $427. I made a big mistake coming here.

Beware of in house Lab issues at Institute for Functional Health. You could be left with costly lab bills. My story: As a new patient I was seen for lab work and initial work up. Months later I was then notified by their office that they LOST my lab samples and that I needed to return for more bloodwork. Very upset and very sick, I decided to go with a more trusted physician and ultimately different lab for more bloodwork. Dr Torres then called me to notify me that my labs were not lost and he just needed more bloodwork. Why didn't they do it right the first time and why lie and hide your mistake. I am now left with 2 lab bills... one from Helix of $250.00 and a lab bill from Quest of $350.00. I should not have to pay both due to Institute for Functional Health's mistake. I have tried calling the office and left messages for office manager Ashley to call me and no response.
