Very nice, romantic and elegant. Food excellant, service excellant, and piano music beautiful. We have traveled europe and asia and this restrauant competes with our experiences in our travels aboard. The staff is very personable and cared about the quality of service. If you want to feel special and enjoy a superbly prepared meal have dinner at this restuarant.

This restaurant we found after having a horrible dinning experience at the Grey Moss Inn. My husband had planned a romantic night for our anniversary and once they started looking for a possum under the tables, we left the Grey Moss Inn. The owner there did nothing but asked us to leave. I thank her for being so rude because we found Meson. When we walked in, we were greeted right away. The ambience is really nice. There was piano music playing and it was quiet enough to have a conversation or just gaze at each other during dinner. We met the owner Martin, he was very helpful in helping us order and brought us complimentary wine for our anniversary. We both ordered a soup. Well let me tell you, the soup no matter what kind is amazing. I just want to pick up the bowl to get every last drop. If you like steak, they have a beef sensation with a cognac sauce that is cooked to perfection everytime. Don't forget dessert, we order the banana foster flambe. They come to your table and make it fresh with a small frying pan as they pour this amazing warm sauce on top of vanilla ice cream to share. I kind of felt like Lady and the tramp. It ended up being a great anniversary after all. We will continue to come here forever!!
