I waited 3 hours to get my wifes post-op medication. I was told multiple times that our insurance was getting rejected for multiple reasons. It ended up being a systems issue on their side. Last time we visit this location, good luck.

Have had a prescription sent over via teledoc and they never filled it, nor tried to look for it. Was walking up to get a prescription not realizing the time and the girl looked right at me and shut the gates without a word as to saying it's lunchtime (apparently all 5 of them have to take lunch at the same time). This is NOT my normal pharmacy so a little courtesy goes a long way. Promised times are never met. If a script is sent over, be warned it takes them more than 5 hours to fill it and even then it's not ready by 10am the next day. You handle people's medications. Some necessary and life sustaining. Be better....

03/03/20238:08pmSince we were eating dinner across the street, we came to this CVS to pick up some toiletries before heading to our hotel. This CVS had a gentleman that was working the register & was extremely irritable (in my opinion) because there was a long line of people paying for their items. I was the last costumer and once I was done getting ringed up I simply said "thank you, have a good night". To my surprise he didn't say a word or even look my way. I figured he probably didn't hear me so I said it again "thank you, have a good night". This man could care less if I said anything. Unfortunately these are the types of people we have working in costumer service. By far some of the worst costumer service I had ever experienced was today. This was a perfect example of how NOT to act while working in costumer care. What I don't understand is that gentleman chose his job. If he is that unhappy there is plenty he can do, especially in a big city like San Antonio. I wish I knew his name to post it on here but I didn't see his name tag. This is extremely unelectable and I hope CVS does a better job in screening the people they hire. Because of this gentleman, I will NEVER step foot in this CVS again.

12 Dec 2022 I requested that my doctor have my Contraceptive prescription refilled at this pharmacy. When I went to pick it up, CVS tech said my doctor hadn't faxed it over so I called my doctor back and requested that they resend the prescription, immediately upon picking up my prescription I noticed it wasn't the same one I've been using for the last few years or so. I didn't think too much of it and thought maybe it was just a different name but the same pill. Within 48 hours I started experiencing the worst side effects, severe migraines, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, difficulty breathing, abdominal cramping, and profuse bleeding. I thought maybe it would just take my body a little while to get adjusted to the medication but it never did. I called my doctor to ask about the prescription and she assured me she hadn't changed it. I then called cvs to confront them about the mistake and as I'm telling the tech, lupé, about the mix up and she audibly gasps and tells me to bring it back, I barely got to tell her about the side effects. I took the incorrect prescription back to the pharmacy and her and another tech were talking amongst themselves and Lupé tells the other "just give it to her" and "not to worry about scanning it" referring to my correct prescription and when they gave me the correct one, the barcode was marked off with a pen. The day after I got my prescription corrected, 14 Jan 23, I ended up in the ER because my symptoms were so severe. I tried to go back to the pharmacy and no one seemed to know or care about what happened and told me to call the customer service line because there was "nothing that they could do". I filed a complaint through customer service and was told by the representative that my doctor did send the correct prescription two times the day I went to CVS when they gave me the wrong one. I was contacted by a general manager named Nabil Kareem who told me they'd have this case investigated only to follow up later that week and find out he'd closed the ticket for my complaint. I requested that they reopen it and have not heard anything back. I'm furious and I am getting my insurance company involved because not only did I end up in the ER but I could have died due to this careless mistake. Everyone involved seems to be making light of the situation or just flat out couldn't care less about how their choices affect others. The lack of integrity and due diligence is disheartening. My suffering lasted over a month! And symptoms persisted even after I stopped taking the pill. It's negligent, unprofessional, and could also be considered malpractice. The ER doctor prescribed a medicine and antibiotics to help and treat other issues caused by their blatant disregard for my well being. When I'd gone to CVS the following day to pick it up, it wasn't ready, they told me to come back in 30 minutes and when I get there they only give me the antibiotics and try to send me on my way, when I ask about the other medication they told me they don't even carry it and that was the one I needed to stop the bleeding and all the other symptoms. I ended up having to go to another pharmacy to pick it up. My pain and suffering lasted approximately 43 days and the out of pocket expenses, which I shouldn't even be responsible for, are absolutely ridiculous. I've changed my pharmacy and I'm advising anyone who fills their prescriptions here to look elsewhere.

This is the WORST location I have EVER been to. Ok First Cvs messes up and transfers my medicine to a far location because they said they didn't have it! Ok fine THEN I tell them to just order it because I can't drive that far so they transfer it back to be told ok we will have it tomorrow! Guess what?? Not only do they NOT have it BUT they don't know when they will get it. So if that's not enough to get you upset because your suffering THEN they tell me to call this other CVS because they should have it and I am on hold for 2 and 1/2 hours at which NO ONE answers. Then I finally call the front desk to be told they are busy. Ok soooo just for me to find out if they even HAVE the medicine I have to drive there and I get on the line and he's first tried to tell me he had to get it pre approved and I had to advise him NO your putting it in wrong. Ok now mind you I had to wait 30 minutes just to verify they had the medicine. Then after ALL that I get told I have to get on line to even pick it up!! So then I'm waiting on the line for another 45 minutes when mind y oh my phone just pinged to tell me it's ready for pick up so let's see. After all this I spent 3 hours and 45 minutes just picking up my medicine.  This is TERRIBLE service and I would NEVER go back to this location. You will be waiting forever to get your medicine and mind you there were not that many people on there and don't let me forget to tell you I was told from cvs that they won't pick up there phone if they feel they are too busy. WOW so you can forget it BUT why should they care right. Smh worst location ever!!! Wish I could give them a lower rating
