I would give Vicente 10 stars if Google allowed me. I took in 2 suits for alterations to both my slacks and jacket. When he completed the work, they were by far the best fitting suits I now own. He is very kind and punctual! Prices are more than fair in my opinion. I will be a returning customer!

I took a 25 year old woman's light brown leather jacket into Vicor's Tailor to see if Mr. Ornelas could replace the broken zipper. The leather is really very soft and the jacket is immaculate except for the broken zipper. The zipper had to be matched to the color of the jacket and it also had to be fit back into the fold of the opening so it would be seamless with the opening of the jacket. Mr. Ornelas found the perfect zipper to match the color and his work was just tremendous! I highly recommend Vicente Ornelas, the owner and tailor of Vicor's Tailor, for anyone who has tailoring needs! He is most certainly an expert and a perfectionist.

My experience wasn't ideal, but ultimately I was able to get something I was somewhat happy with. I think this place is good if you know what you want but not if you're looking for someone to help you with beginner experiences.
I wasn't happy with some jobs, and the tailor would just say that it's what I asked for. I'll admit I agreed to the alteration, but I was asking for his opinions as well and somewhat relying on them for when I wasn't sure how some alterations would turn out.
For one job, he mentioned having to do some extra work to complete the job and wanted to charge me for it after the fact. I mentioned that he hadn't checked with me before doing that and he dropped the charge. I was kind of disappointed that other work I hadn't requested was done, but oh well. But he also charged me a different price from the original quote, which I unfortunately had no proof of because it wasn't written on the carbon copy receipt he gave me (my fault for not checking). I didn't want to bother arguing about it so I decided to just pay the 4 dollars more or so.
Otherwise, the transactions were fair, even cheap compared to other tailors. Vicente is a nice guy and responsive, and I think I would have been happier if I had myself known better what I wanted rather than ask him about it. I bet if you knew what you wanted, Vicente would be able to do the job.
