I’ve been going to this store ever since I was a child. This is the closest store to my parents house. My parents are both in their 70’s. I work for the Department of the Navy in Virginia since 1995 and I stay with my parents during my visits. Through the years, my parents have complained about an employee, Pat, working at 1603 Goliad Rd (Circle K/Valero). They described her as a white, heavy weight women, Pat. They said Pat is always very hateful, disrespectful and has a very poor customer service. She refuses to take cash, refuses to cash scratch tickets and has refused free coffee to veterans as advertised by Circle K. Every time I’m home for a visit it never fails that I, my veteran friends, my parents and/or my veteran brother have an incident with this same individual. My recent visit during Thanksgiving and recent incident with Pat: My Mom sent me in for the daily news paper. As I was going through the news paper pile she said “we’re out of today’s newspaper. Pauses a little and says can’t you see...? I said obviously not. So, I waited patiently while she was cashing out a male customer, in which she was being very condescending and disrespectful and was correcting his pronunciation, the man had a Spanish accent. He remained very kind to her. He answered yes, Ma’am , Thank you ,Ma’am. It’s sad how our community feels that they have to deal with such poor customer service at our neighborhood store. After the gentleman left I told her that she is always very rude, and has very poor customer service. She replied “ that is not my problem” I said yes it is your problem” you work at a store and provide customer service for our area. She never wants to take dollar bills, even as small as a $10. She never wants to cash lottery tickets. She’s lazy, and doesn’t want to operate to volt to get money out. I’m sure this store is losing customers due to her hatefulness. All other stores in that same general area are 100 times better than this store. I highly recommend customers give their business to a better store.

Jimmy is the best at this location. I always enjoy coming to this store.
