Mimi is incredible! She altered a dress for a wedding I was attending and she did an amazing job! Mimi also mentioned that she went to school for fashion design, which definitely showed. She not only expertly made the alterations, but her fashion knowledge also allowed her to make sure that the alterations that she made would be flattering. I will definitely be back! Mimi is AMAZING! I had taken a dress I needed altered for a wedding to another shop and the staff laughed at me for needing their services. I called up Needle Nook and Mimi took me right in. Mimi is the only alterations spot you need!! She altered a champagne skirt for my prewedding shoot because I wanted the waist cinched- the photos look incredible. She MADE MY VEIL Custom! Spanish style/inspo. It was such a mood! I got so many compliments. And I wore two different belts, 1 per dress, from her shop.. love them both. My wedding gown is Jenny Yoo and I was very particular in that I wanted it fitted, but not tight and I wanted it to fit my curves, but not be too much of a mermaid style. The pictures speak for themselves. My friends and family were speechless when they saw me. I felt incredible. In addition, she hemmed my partner's designer suit pants and I love where they hit for his wedding look (I like when the bottom softly hits the laces). Mimi also altered my 2nd gown's sleeves because they were too tight. I still don't know how she did it with the super fine fabric, but it fit very comfortably and I was able to lift my arms and have full movement. Before her alterations, I could barely move my arms. I am still getting compliments and reactions from friends and family, which everyone loves. I am VERY particular and Mimi really delivered in every aspect. The best part was that all of her changes really elevated my look without sacrificing comfort. Never going anywhere else.
