Gerrit Schulze took up the challenge and quickly got up to speed on the complex nuances of the issues. In the end, his professionalism, knowledge of the law, and oratory skills in the courtroom resulted in the outcomes I needed from the court. I would not hesitate to hire him again in a similar situation.

I recently used Shumway Vans attorneys for a personal claim. Although we are in the middle of our case, the team of Alisha and Cande have been informative and detailed along the way. I used the services of Shumway Van Law Firm on November 10, 2020. I’m giving Shumway Van an excellent review because everything was accomplished as requested of them. Every employee that I talked with from the receptionist to the lawyer, Shanna Shultz were very knowledgeable and interested in taking care of the issue I contacted them with. Notary Mayra Juarez also helped me get all my paperwork notarized in a timely manner. I needed this situation taken care of fast and Attorney Shanna Shultz helped me do just that. I had to repeatedly call and get updates as the invoices weren't detailed. This was obviously an increase in charges. The main reason for filing against the company I filed against was due to an unlivable condition, yet every time it was talked over, it was that I didn't submit a work order for something I didn't know existed, yet had multiple contacts with the company declaring the issue. Thousands of dollars later, I will get no result after providing the information I had. Granted, it's partly due to the party I was fighting against, but this was honestly the biggest waste of money ever. I guess that's the norm these days, over charge and under perform while keeping the client in the dark about what was going on.
Update after firm responded:
After waiting to hear back from our counter offer, nothing seemed to have taken place and I was informed opposing council had not responded. Then I got another crazy high bill and no person with common sense would continue pushing for a small resolution when they are being charged an arm and a leg for minimal work.
