I have lived at Hillcreste for nearly 11 years and I love it! The office staff and maintenance crews have been amazing. While we have had several management companies and/or property managers...I have found Roscoe Property Management to be very responsive to me as they have addressed all of my concerns in a very timely and professional manner. I would definitely recommend Hillcreste @ Thousand Oaks to anyone!

Absolutely disappointed in the quality of life they give their residents. When we moved in everyone was so welcoming (except for our downstairs neighbors but that’s another issue) but now that we’ve been here almost 2 months we’re dealing with issues with our heat for the past 3 weeks with no solution. Everyone seems to half way fix issues instead of taking the time to care for the residents. I am usually not the one to complain but I am tired of living in an apartment that is below 60 degrees with a toddler. Absolutely ridiculous. Cant wait to get out of this place.

Process of constant renovations. there wouldn't be an issue if the "24-48 hr" notices meant 24-48 hours instead of 6-12 hour notices. Update: coming back there was a hiccup with the renovations and they apologized for both the delay and the poor punctuality of their notices. They promised to be sure to notify us of any future updates. -Today on Monday I come back during my lunch break to find my toilette replaced without any written notice, so not informing me that complete strangers are alone in my apartment is nice. the work is sub contracted, not being performed by in house maintenance which means no or very little accountability. please don't get me wrong, I'm very appreciative for the much needed renovation. the apartments are managed by the management of "summit at thousand oaks" and if feels like hillcreste at thousand oaks is on the side burner for them. update: Current renovations consist of a new toilet which is pretty nice. other than that, empty units are only being repainted and having the carpet swapped for hard floor linoleum wood pattern which is pretty nice. the fridges and stoves are swapped out. the counters and cupboards are still cheap pressed wood with a coat of paint. the website photos make the apartments seem larger and higher quality than what you're getting. the listed rent prices haven't been adjusted since my re-sign back in august 2019. which was an increase of $150 when i originally moved in back in august 2018 I still get maintenance regularly trying to open my door when I'm trying to sleep during the day without notice. I work nights and it is annoying. They don"t even call or leave a note.
