Update: THAT IS A LIE AND YOU KNOW IT!!!!!!! SHE WAS CANCLED ON AT LEAT 6 TIMES. EMAIL THE ATTENDANCE RECORDS AND ILL PROVE IT. They've canceled on my daughter at least half a dozen times and then, the person who takes her to tutoring, her grandmother is in the hospital. I called today to let them know that she won't be making it, just to be told that they're going to charge me for my daughter missing this session because they didn't receive 48 hours notice but the six sessions before that they have canceled on me last minute don't matter. I was specifically told that I would be getting makeup sessions for my daughter scheduled for those weeks and they never happened and the one time that I call with a family emergency because an individual is hospitalized in our family they want to charge me for the missed session. I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau and suing. It's the principle not the money.

UPDATED TO REPLY TO RESPONSE BELOW: This is not what we were promised. We were told that it would be "easy" to raise her score 200 points and ensured us this would be the outcome. Everyone we spoke with kept saying 200 points. Also, they "calculated" the 44 hours of study would do it. No one mentioned having to do extra practice tests and no one ever mentioned or offered a review session. Again, we will reiterate that we were sold on a "sales pitch" and the results did not come anywhere close to what was being sold. We were definitely duped out of almost $4,000 dollars and want to warn anyone else that this may happen to them. ***As your own response states below there is no actual guarantee that your child will increase their score so save your money.*** *********************************************************** Our daughter needed help with the SAT. We had multiple meetings with Huntington and they all promised that they could bring her score up 200 points easy they said. She currently has a 4.9 GPA so she is smart and a very quick learner. They assessed her and said it would take 44 hours of SAT study with their program to see significant results. She took the 44 HOURS of study and immediately when she was finished took the SAT again. Her score only went from a 1200 to a 1230. We are highly disappointed with the promises that were made. We feel we were deceived for an extremely high price of $3,500 for 30 points. We would advise you to save your money. 30 points on an SAT is not going to make a difference on whether you submit your scores or not. We are not going to submit her 1230 since it's not a competitive score, therefore, we paid $3,500 for absolutely nothing.

We used Huntington Learning Center to help with Math TSI, over the summer We are so thrilled to say our daughter passed thanks to the Amazing Tutors !, The staff at HLC are professional, personal and have flexible hours to accommodate busy schedules. We highly recommend!

My daughter always struggled in school with focusing and testing. She would fail almost every test and would have to retake them. We moved here from another State 6 years ago and her elementary school made me aware she may have ADHD. My daughter was diagnosed and we addressed the focusing issue with the local brain balance center for 4 months with no medication. After, it was time to fill in the gaps of everything she had missed because of the focusing issues. Thankfully, we found Al and his staff. The team tested my daughter, found the gaps, and helped her get caught up. She is in 10th grade now making mostly As and some high Bs. She's been making As on the first try on several tests. She is even taking advanced English and doing well. She is also excelling in her Geometry class. Al and his staff really care about the kids. He talks to them about what they can do to improve in class and what to look for on tests/assignments to help them do better overall. Al also talks to the kids and parents regularly on their progress. Each month he'll let you know how they are doing, what they learned, and what they are focusing on next. If you have any specific concerns you can address them with Al and he'll incorporate it in the program. My daughter enjoyed going 3 times a week for 6 months and made friends with the kids in her group. She would be awarded gift cards when she would reach certain milestones. She loved it! If your child is struggling, not passing tests and STAAR exams, I highly recommend Huntington Learning Center. My daughter is more confident. She is no longer upset after school, and she enjoys it.
