I like Dr. Taylor but his office staff is the worst I have ever experienced. They have failed to return calls, send in all needed information for insurance procedures to be approved, failed to send referrals to surgical neurologist or physical therapist, sent MRI request to wrong clinic over 60 miles away from me after I gave them the name of the location I wanted to use. Left message for office manager to call me back and still haven't heard back from her.

My husband saw Ms. Williams for about 1.5 years. When we started there we were honest that he was a tough cause with a chronic condition. After all this time he had a flair, and insurance required extra paperwork for mediation that in the past were just covered. When I asked them to complete the paperwork the assistant told me they'll just have to discuss it. I don't understand what there was to discuss. He needed the medication it was already prescribed so the doctor had thought it was the best route. The assistant went on about how they may have to do a peer review and she just didn't know if they would be willing to do that. So I said basically it won't be filled out. I obviously got fairly irritated but never yelled or cussed. They did fill it out but it was denied due to not being done correctly. When I called the assistant said they will NOT be doing anything further. When I asked about what we should do she said go to the ER. She said we need to make an appointment and discuss anything further. So we did. We took the day off work, spent $60 in gas, $20 tolls, and $50 co-pay this time seeing Dr. Taylor. Dr. Taylor refused any further treatment and said he'd refer us elsewhere. Today we got a letter saying they will no longer accept my husband as a patient. My guess is this is due to insurance and me getting irritated with the assistant who was rude and should have just been positive about getting the paperwork needed for insurance. So if you have any insurance issues which who doesn't they won't help you. The assistant is negative and needs to know how to treat people. I wouldn't have gotten irritated if she would have just said yes I'll get with the doctor about this ASAP and get back with you. Instead, I got I'll see if they WANT to do it they may NOT want to do peer review. This is all prior to even knowing exactly what insurance exactly needed or wanted.

Okay, been through 3 of the people here two NPs and the neurologist. Felt dismissed from the first time I came into the office. They were not evaluating and processing the symptoms presented to them as a medical professional should. In all cases, they did not treat the issue and symptoms they were being presented with. They dismissed the data being presented to them and did not choose to perform further testing when the initial reason for my visit was because of an issue I've had that has been underlying, and unnoticed my entire life. I've held my tongue and given them the benefit of the doubt through this process, but this is not how a specialist should operate. I have two MDs in my family, one who is a specialist in another field, and a PCP. I understand the thought process and method they use for solving problems. This place is not doing it. I would look elsewhere. Find someone who evaluates the data and then acts on that data. Don't go to a neurologist who isn't doing neurology and isn't describing to you exactly what could be going on based on your family history and the symptoms you are presenting with and the data from the eegs.

I have huge concerns about the office staff. First visit with this office was 6 months ago. First visit, completed several pages of information regarding insurance and referring primary care provider. Today they call to confirm appointment and if insurance and the primary care provider are the same (it is). The office staff person says my consult has expired and will need to contact my primary care provider. (Okay) apparently she is looking at the wrong chart because she names a physician that I dont recognize. People please!!!!! Read the information before you call someone- if reflects that there maybe laziness and incompetence. Which is nothing a patient needs with a physician or its office staff.

Never got to see the Dr. . My appointment was scheduled for 3 weeks, his office called to confirm my appointment 1.5 hours before my arrival to tell me my visit would be 600 dollars because they would not confirm with my insurance of the proper billing. After recognizing the laziness of the office staff, I immediately cancelled my appointment and found a competent neurological group. I highly suggest that the Dr evaluate how his office staff works or the lack thereof.
