I have worked with this title company for over a decade. Tassie Garza and her team have always been amazing to work with, and available for any questions/concerns. They do everything in their power to make your closing smooth and pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They are the best...Tassie, Rebecca, Kathy, and Kyla.

I'm usually not one to post less than stellar reviews, but in this case, I feel my experience was meaningful enough to allow for others to make an informed decision on where they choose to do business.  The company is not the most responsive.  Phone calls could go more than a day before a return phone call, and go ahead and block out 12-1 as a possible time to make contact.  Also, responses to emails requires a phone call as a follow-up to the email. They were not professional.  We were supposed to close on a Thursday and due to the seller being out of town, the documents were sent the same day as the closing, which in turn will delay the close.  They didn't notify us of the delay.  Rather than allowing us to grant an extension to the contract, they worked independently outside of the contract. Come Friday, they still didn't have the documents back.  Monday comes around and still nothing.  Apparently, there was a mistake on the documents and they had to be resent.  I asked them why I was not notified of the delay and the person on the phone said, "that is not my job".  It is now Tuesday and I still don't have any idea when this property will close. The mark of a true professional is knowing what you know, knowing what you don't know, and being able to take ownership of a question.  I am not sure how many title companies are in the CIty of Rockdale, but be prepared to be on "island time" if you choose to work with Attorneys of Texas Title.  Perhaps they have been doing business this way for a long time and it has served them well to this point.  I think clients deserve better, after all,  Title Insurance is required and it does come at a cost to both the Buyer and Seller. Service is what sets companies apart.  Title companies do the exact same thing, day after day so why wouldn't you want a little more from the place you choose to do business?  It is my hope this testimonial can be used to help them with their processes and improve the perception of value.

Probably the worst title company I have worked with my entire life. They have poor communication. As a buyers agent, every time I needed them to call the lender, they would make me call the lender and I would have to tell the lender to call them. They also wanted me to set up the courtesy remote closing. I had to purchase the home warranty for them and send them the invoice. Basically if you would like to use them for anything, they will make you do most of the work. The icing on the cake, they asked me to schedule the survey for the property. Long story short, the bank also hired a survey team and there was two separate bills at closing. Title company would not pay for any of it, so I went ahead and took it out of my commission. Could have just been a bad experience, but they left a foul taste in my mouth and I just cant imagine it going away anytime soon when there are so many other title companies that go above and beyond for your business.
