Flying Biscuit Cafe - Richardson

The biscuits are light and fluffy. The pancakes are large and delicious, but they don't make you feel heavy after you eat them. I can't get enough of this place. The Flying Biscuit is a franchise and all of the locations that I've been too are amazing!

Should put a permanently closed sign on the google listing . They are closed based on the sign in the window. Don’t head over here . Sorry I missed a chance to try this place.

This place was awesome! Good quality food. Hearty portions and cooked with skill and care. I had the crab cakes, great Hollandaise sauce with scrambled eggs and the biscuits are absolutely incredible! Flaky and melts in your mouth with wonderful apple cranberry butter! The service was awesome too!

I have never been to a breakfast restaurant with eggs benedict on the menu that was so bold as to serve BROKEN hollandaise sauce. Plus, there was no heat to the sauce at all, it was sweet more than anything. For the price of this meal, I could have cooked enough of the exact same thing (but with correctly integrated sauce) for several people. Plus, fried egg instead of poached? But the deal breaker, and the reason for the 1 star review, was the potatoes. I would have been disappointed with the main dish, but I probably wouldn’t have written this review if the side of potatoes would have been ok. But to serve dried out, boring potatoes that had clearly been frozen (looks like Ore Ida) to an Irish woman on SAINT PATRICKS DAY??? NO. NOT OKAY. And, my husband didn’t like his food either. I recommend going somewhere else. This place obviously has quality control issues and can’t be trusted to send out good food.
