To start with Brenda was hired to do my family members wedding at the very very beautiful Castle of Rockwall. After accepting the job to do the photos for the wedding she was very unprofessional. The first thing was that the wedding coordinator tried to contact her via email several weeks before the wedding to get a photo list so we would be prepared on the wedding day so that the photos would move quickly because the venue has a time schedule that had to taken into consideration. It took her 2.5 weeks to respond after contacting her a second time, and when she did she had no ideal what was being asked of her. So the wedding coordinator created a list of photos that the bride and groom requested for their big day so they will have all the memories they wanted. It was a go for the big day or so we thought. Wedding day comes and she's shows up late, no list of photos that we requested. She then was asking the coordinator what photos was next. (she was not prepared at all). She tells the bride 12 hours prior to wedding that she needs to get a few things together for her pre wedding photos, marriage license, shoes, rings ect.... she takes her time doing these photos, dress photos, ect... caused a few minutes delay in the wedding starting on time. fast forward to ceremony, photos are TERRIBLE!!!!!! the photos she has sent to the bride are blurry, heads cut off of the groom and bride, no close up shots, too far back photos, no family photos, not one of the elderly members of the family , no photos of her guest, no photos of the bride or grooms parents, kids, siblings, grandparent, bridal party photos, or the cakes and not to mention they have NO editing done to them. You see all the shadowing, sun, and people in the background of the photos. The bride can not even pick ONE photo worthy of sending for her thank you notes, she had been left to find someone else to take photos of them to create her thank you notes to her guest who traveled as far as Hawaii for the ceremony. The sad thing about the whole situation is that this was a very very beautiful event that can never be replicated because it was their day to celebrate their love with family and friends and now they have not one great photo to show off their day. Bottom line is that you do a very thorough check before hiring someone to do such a special moment for you like your WEDDING DAY!!!
